Check the instructions before cleaning

Read the label before choosing a washing, drying or dry-cleaning method. Use the stated temperature and cleaning guidance, and check whether the item needs a particular method. Do not assume that all clothing can be hand washed or dry cleaned.

If the listing or label does not provide the information you need, contact customer care with the item name or order number before cleaning it.

Plan washing and drying around the garment

Check the label's guidance on washing items separately, using a machine and drying. Pay attention to any instructions for fastenings, embellishments or other details on that particular piece.

Choose a drying method supported by the label. If instructions differ between garments, clean them separately rather than applying one method to every item.

Care for the fabric between wears

Store the garment in a way that suits its shape and the supplied care guidance. Before using a comb, brush or other tool to remove pills or marks, check that the method is suitable for that fabric.
